Area Maps

This is a version of the combined maps of the entire trilogy, along with the locations from the lower-level quests in Dragon of Icespire Peak. This is a map for Game Master use, not intended for players, as some of these locations are spoilers for later parts of the Adventure, and should not be given away early.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of these locations are not actually accurate, lore-wise and strategy wise. Even though all these locations are "correct" according to the original published maps, they contradict the descriptions given in the text of this adventure, and other official published content.

I mentioned in the "Meet Lord Neverember" article that Leilon itself is located too far inland, and should be just a bit south of where "Leilon Point" is on this map.

Ebondeath's Mausoleum is quite a bit further south in the Mere, nowhere near that close to Leilon.

The worst offender of all is Iniarv's Tower, which is not located in the Mere at all, for important historical and tactical reasons we will get into later. It should be located on the opposite side of the High Road from the Mere of Dead Men, on one of those hills at the bottom of the map.

Welcome, Game Masters!

 Welcome to Beyond The Essentials: A Flexible Gamemaster's Guide to Expanding and adjusting the Leilon Trilogy!  I'm your humble host, Franchester the Wise. I ran this adventure for a party of PC's from November of 2021 through November of 2022.
